Visser owned the empty lot next to Grandma and Grandpa Campbell’s house on Yukon St.  He raised flowers there, maybe vegetables?  He took the bus from “over town”, changed into his gardening clothes in his tool shed, and kept his buttermilk in Grandma’s refrigerator.  He also built Grandma and Grandpa’s house, as well as the Sharpe’s house just to the east.  In the year’s that I owned the house, during some remodeling upstairs, I found his signature on a rafter tie.

Oh, that’s me, at age 16 months.  The picture is dated July 1958.
