img858a (800x497)Mom, Don and Reba on the Grand Coulee Dam, and I suspect they’ve been joined by Louise and Sally Fairchild?  Bob, we’re relying on you once again!

Helen and Clark

Going-to-the-Sun Road is the only road that crosses Glacier National Park in Montana,  going over the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. It was completed in 1932.  I suspect this photo is much newer!

img831bDon, Reba, Mary Lou, and two I don’t recognize.

img831a (800x487)Is that Jerry?

img831 copy 6 (800x493)A really beautiful picture of Mom!

img036 1961Clark seems delighted with the Etch-a-Sketch but I can’t tell what I’m looking at, or what Mom has in her lap.

This is from 1961 at Grandma and Grandpa Campbell’s.

img847a (800x503) img848a (497x800)The top picture is Mom and Bob, with two friends in between.

img870a (428x800)This could just as likely be Dylan Thomas’s A Child’s Christmas in Wales:

“One Christmas was so much like another, in those years around the sea-town corner now and out of all sound except the distant speaking of the voices I sometimes hear a moment before sleep, that I can never remember whether it snowed for six days and six nights when I was twelve or whether it snowed for twelve days and twelve nights when I was six.”

According to Bob’s explanation yesterday, this must be Spokane. I assume that’s mom in the first two pictures.
